Kentucky League of CitiesThe Kentucky League of Cities was very concerned about the burden that the cost of codification could put on its small cities. To remedy the situation, American Legal worked with the League to produce and publish the Kentucky Basic Code, which allows Kentucky cities to codify important model provisions with their own unique ordinances. Since 1980, nearly 200 Kentucky cities have taken advantage of this codification program with special thanks to the State of Kentucky which has provided grants for qualified applicants who want to benefit from this program.
