The OpenGov Foundation is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C. that American Legal Publishing assists in its mission to make local laws more available and open to the public. Its American Decoded project allows the public to engage in the full cycle of lawmaking – from suggesting ideas, to drafting bills, gathering public input, codification, and finding laws already on the books. The ultimate goal is to make democracy work better for Americans inside and outside of government.
American Legal is pleased to be a part of this movement.
